GIRVAN South Parish Fete will take place at the beginning of June.
Everyone is welcome to visit the South Parish Fete from 1pm on Saturday, June 2 next to Girvan Stair Park.
Start by having a hot dog or hamburger outside in the park and then visit the stalls. Entrance is free to the home baking, unwanted gifts, books, white elephant and plant stall.
At 2.30pm step outside to watch or take part in the dog show. Entry is £1 per class and the classes are: best puppy – six months to a year; best junior one to two years; best intermediate two years up; and best senior over eight years.
The final class is best in show and will win one of the prizes donated by Girvan Pet Shop.
There is plenty of free parking. Teas will be in the smaller hall and will cost £3 and include a homemade cake and a scone or biscuit.
