A THREE-figure sum of money was stolen from a property in South Beach, Troon.

Between 4.30pm on Tuesday, May 1 and 8.45am on Wednesday, May 2, someone forced entry into the premises.

Police are now appealing for information in relation to the incident.

PC Blair Wood from Troon Police Station said: “I am appealing to the public for any information they may have with regards to a break-in to a premise on South Beach, Troon near to Troon Library.

“A sum of money has been stolen from this business and we are keen to identify the person or persons responsible.

“If you were walking or driving along South Beach, Troon and saw anyone behaving suspiciously, please call 101 and report this to Police Officers at Troon Police Station quoting crime number “UD00150518”.
