LIVE music festival Burnsfest was back at Rozelle Park this weekend with a packed programme for friends and family.
Opening this year’s Burnsfest on Saturday, May 5 was Katee Kross & The Amberjax. Katee is a Scottish singer songwriter working towards her third self-penned album, which is due out later this year.
80s icons Hipsway headlined the event performing their well-known hits including Broken Years, Ask the Lord, Long White Car, and their breakthrough hit Honeythief.
Also on stage were indie rock band Brownbear, Ayrshire’s own Anna Sweeney, Chesney Hawkes, Scottish singer/songwriter Carol Laula and popular band Apache Darling.
As well a the acts there was also an open mic session, Burns Street Food & Drink Village, Burns fairground, Openair Burns, The Lifeboat and a Haggis Hunt.
Burnsfest 2018 is organised by South Ayrshire Council and sponsored by Burns Pet Nutrition and Owen Kerr Signs.
