Scout’s community support
A TROON Scout was the chosen candidate for Troon Rotary’s monthly Community Support Award.
Scott Grassom, who is a member of the 28th Ayrshire Scout Unit, received a cheque for £200, presented to him by Rotarian Shelia Harsant along with Jess Reid and John Crerar.
Scott will be reprenting the South and South-West Scotland at the 2019 World Scout Jamboree in West Virginia and his £200 will be going towards a target of £3900, a part of which will goes to the UK Solidarity Fund for helping other Scouts in less developed countries.
