AN artist from Ayr who is recovering from prostate cancer is raising money for research at an exhibition on Carrick Road.
Ian McNicol has been through a radical prostatectomy. Ian and his wife Leona want to show their appreciation to the nurses, doctors and surgeon who have helped him through this.
Leona said: “Ian is recovering well from a recent radical prostatectomy and is very grateful to the doctors, nurses and surgeon who have helped Ian through his diagnosis of prostate cancer.
We have set up a Justgiving page and are donating 10 per cent of sales from Ian & Leona’s Spring Show. So far we have raised £510 before the event starts.”
The show opens on Friday, April 27 from 6pm -8pm. It will run on Saturday from 10am until 5pm and Sunday from 12pm until 5pm.for the weekend at 10 Carrick Road.
