STAFF from Vodafone Ayr donated a large sum of money to Cash For Kids.
The charity, who work to help local children who are disadvantaged, disabled or suffering for abuse of neglect, were given £1000 from the store.
Steven Breckney, Vodafone Store Manager in Ayr said, “We chose Cash for Kids simply because they do fantastic work for sick and underprivileged children, and because every penny they receive in donations goes directly towards the kids themselves.”
Lynne Bennett, Charity Manager at Cash for Kids, added: “Cash for Kids in Ayrshire is absolutely delighted to have been chosen.
“We believe in communities giving something back and that a sense of community is really important.
"This award will go towards our Holiday Hunger campaign during the school holidays.”
