MEMBERS and volunteers at Girvan’s Age Concern are invited to take part in a fundraising bingo event on Wednesday.
Those who want to play can attend Age Concern at 2 Duff Street at 1.30pm on Wednesday, April 18.
Davy Gilmartin, who organised the event, said: “We want to get the volunteers and the members to get involved in various events throughout the year.
“Next month we will host a psychic night as we are trying to raise fund for the upkeep of the hall and to buy the food.”
On Wednesday there will be a raffle where local retailers have given prizes, vouchers, jewellery, cosmetic goods to be won.
Davy continued: “We have some awesome prizes donated by the town. The Girvan Youth Trust have been helping us and they have lent us the bingo machine and tickets which was very generous.
“They are going to help us on the day and we will return the favour. Everyone is welcome.”
