Man 'stole meat' from Ayr's Lidl
A MAN was due to appear in court today for allegedly stealing five luxury steaks from Lidl in Ayr.
It is claimed at 5.55pm on Sunday, April 8 the 54-year-old was caught nicking £22 worth of steak from the store.
The Ayr Advertiser Series understands that he was reported to police by members of staff. Officers attended and the man was arrested and charged.
The man was arrested and due to appear at court on Monday, April 9. As we went to press there were no updates on the situation.
