TWO MEN have been arrested in connection with the death of Ansar Shah.
Ansar Shah, then 36, was stabbed to death at a seafront car park in Ayr on October 4, 1993.
Following an operation led by Police Scotland's Homicide Governance and Review Team, two men, aged 53 and 59, have been arrested in connection with his death.
The 53 year old man was arrested in the London area and the 59 year old man in Ayrshire.
A third man, 51-year-old Jagtar Singh, has already appeared in court charged with murdering Mr Shah.
Mr Singh, whose address was given as Romans-sur-Isere in France, made no plea to the single charge of murder at Ayr Sheriff Court on 30 November last year.
