NEW funding will be available for community groups across Girvan and South Carrick this month.
Residents are being encouraged to show their support by voting at the latest Girvan and South Carrick Decision Day, taking place on Saturday, March 17 at Colmonell Primary School.
Some 17 groups will be displaying their ideas for their community groups and projects to be granted funding, with up to £40,000 available at the event.
Voting is open to anyone who lives, works, volunteers or studies in Girvan, Dailly, Barr, Colmonell, Lendalfoot, Ballantrae, Barrhill and Pinmore.
At the previous event in South Carrick the community voted to prioritise bids which support people with dementia, those living in isolation, people with poor Mental Health, while also taking into account the needs of rural communities, or the Glendoune area of Girvan.
