TWO men who allegedly forced their way in a property in Ayr and threatened a young woman with weapons, ransacked her house and made off with her car, have been arrested.

The men, aged 40 and 41, have been arrested and charged in connection with the incident, that took place on Monday, January 22 at around 9:30pm, when it is understood they forced their way into a property on Thornyflat Place.

It is claimed they threatened a 21-year-old woman with weapons and violence before taking the car keys and ransacking the house.

They are to appear at Ayr Sheriff Court later this week.
