Overhead wires causing travel disruption between Glasgow and Ayr
OVERHEAD wire problems in the Barassie area are causing disruption to trains running between Glasgow Central and Ayr.
Trains are currently unable to run between Kilwinning and Ayr.
Road transport has been requested.
Alternative travel options include: 1 x Bennets bus and 2 x Shuttle coaches will operate from Kilwinning at around 4.35pm.
Customers can use alternative train services via Kilmarnock to Ayr and Troon.
