Police in South Ayrshire are working in partnership with South Ayrshire Council Trading Standards to raise awareness about fraud and doorstep crime this week.
These crimes affect some of the most vulnerable members of local communities with offenders often targeting victims due to a perceived vulnerability such as age, gender or disability.
Police and partner agencies will be holding awareness sessions between 10am and 1pm on Friday, January 26 at the following venues: Ayr Central Shopping Centre, High Street, Ayr, Morrisons, Dukes Road, Troon and Santander, High Street, Ayr.
These sessions will also give anyone the opportunity to ask questions or seek advice from police and partners.
