THE outside lane of the A77 between Sandyford Toll and Whitletts Roundabout will be closed next week.
As part of Transport Scotland’s strategic trunk road maintenance programme, Scotland TranServ will carry masonry repair of the Clune Culvert between the roundabouts southbound on the A77.
The works, which begin on Monday, December 4 will require the closure of the nearside lane, in order to provide a safe working area for our operatives.
This will operate out with peak periods, between 9.30am and 3.30pm from Monday, December 4 until Friday, December 15.
There will be no weekend working and the Northbound carriageway will remain unaffected
Gordon Gibney, Scotland TranServ’s Operational Delivery Manager said: “This is an important programme of works to maintain and repair the Clune Culvert located on a busy stretch of the A77 Southbound.
"We have worked in collaboration with Police Scotland and the local authority in order to schedule the works for minimal disruption to the travelling public.”
It will be necessary to implement traffic management on the Southbound nearside lane.
This will operate out with peak periods, between the hours of 9.30am and 3.30pm from Monday 4th until Friday 15th December. There will be NO weekend working and the Northbound carriageway will remain unaffected.
