TAM FEST was back for its third year this weekend and saw thousands flock to Ayr Town Centre to join in the celebrations.
The unique three day celebration of Halloween and Tam o’ Shanter ran from Friday, October 27 to Sunday, October 29.
Locals and tourists were able to enjoy Ayr’s fascinating and rich, if not rather spooky, history which made it the perfect place to be the weekend before Halloween.
Entertainment included markets, live performances, a haunted house, history tours, workshops and celebrations for the whole family, with something for all ages.
There were special performances from Mark Cox and Jane McGarry as well as Emily Middlemass on Sunday, October 29.
Sunday saw the second year of the ‘Day o’ the Deid’ procession parade along Ayr High Street as part of the grand finale.
