Over 500 participants have taken part in this year’s Day O' the Deid preparations at Ayr Town Hall.
The workshops, funded by South Ayrshire council’s Awards for all Scotland, created coffins, masks, paper mache skulls and sombreros ahead of Sunday’s Tam Fest Halloween parade.
This year the group intend on fascinating the crowd with vibrant skeletons lurking inside the brightly coloured coffins to promote their Mexican theme, which is a celebration of life and death coming together.
The Latin twist will be sure to add a vibrant, exciting flare to the traditionally scary festivities.
Starting at 3.45pm on Sunday October 29, the group will meet at Arran Mall, along with others to entertain, dressed to impress.
Once the procession is over, the team would like to invite people back to their fundraiser at No22 bar and grill.
There will be a Mexican buffet and proceeds will go towards next year’s workshops.
