Hotel staff raise funds for neo-natal unit
STAFF from the Carlton Hotel donated funds to the neonatal unit at Ayrshire Maternity Unit.
The group of ladies, from the Prestwick hotel, held a ladies’ day involving a number of fundraising activities including a raffle to win a stay in a lodge at Lochside Hotel in Troon.
They raised a fantastic £529, which was presented to Neonatal Unit staff by Laura Fisher, who helped organise the ladies’ day.
Caroline Blake, clinical midwife manager of neonatal services, said: “We would like to thank Laura and all the ladies involved for this generous donation.
“Their kindness and generosity is truly appreciated.”
