Man dies after being rescued from River Doon
AN ELDERY man has died after being pulled from a river in Ayr.
The 90-year-old was recovered from the River Doon on Wednesday, September 6 at around 1:40pm after emergency services were called to the scene.
The coastguard, police, ambulance service and the fire service attended.
There are no suspicious circumstances surrounding the incident and it has been reported to the procurator fiscal.
