DUE to a broken-down train between Ayr and Newton-on-Ayr, all lines have been blocked and replacement buses have been put in place.
Scotrail will be running a bus replacement service between Irvine and Ayr which will call at station with the exception of Barassie.
There will be a mini bus running between Irvine and Barassie as a full-size bus cannot access this station.
From Ayr, Dodds of Troon buses and a Keenans bus that will run to Irvine to connect in with a train to Glasgow.
The Dodds buses are on site and the Keenans bus will be available at approximately 11am.
From Irvine, there is buses from Coast to Coast and Bennets, which will be avalible between 10:45 and 11am.
At Barassie, there is a Coast to Coast minibus from approx. 10:45am, which will run to/from Irvine so that you can connect into the train to Glasgow or the larger bus to Ayr.
Ayr services between Stranraer and Kilmarnock will terminate and start back from Maybole.
Ayr services between Girvan and Kilmarnock will be cancelled.
Disruption is expected until 1pm.
