A TROON woman is due to stand trial for allegedly obtaining £200 by fraud.
Amy Crumlish, who now resides at Taylor Street in Ayr has denied the allegation.
The 21-year-old has been charged with pretending to have a damaged mobile and entering into an agreement with a man who agreed to give her £200 in exchange for the phone.
She also denies sending the man an empty package between February 14 and February 17 last year to receive the cash.
Crumlish appeared before Sheriff John Montgomery at Ayr Sheriff Court last week. Procedures have been deferred until next month to allow the court to carry out investigations in relation to the charge.
