TARTAN Jigsaw will continue their work in Girvan this summer to allow tourists and locals to explore the town through augmented reality.
A time travel Scotland project underway which will take the traditional seaside community of Girvan on a journey of discovery called #FutureUnwritten.
Over 12 months, different opportunities will be created for members of the community to explore a variety of interpretive techniques, experience augmented reality for themselves, create interesting content and feed into the wider thinking around the application of this technology for places.
Ros Halley, Managing Director, visited the Girvan Town Team to update them on the project.
She said: “We are planning a new event in the summer to show people how they can use augmented reality in Girvan.
“It will be done through a postcard and we will use a special app which will bring it to life.”
Events are expected to run up until September.
