ALLOWAY and Doonfoot Community Council held their AGM last week.
Despite the election for community council elections taking place last year Chairman Peter Hall and Secretary Mathew Stewart have retired from their position.
Marilyn Dalgleish will take over from Peter and Brendan Ferguson has taken on the role of secretary.
Ian Duncanson remains the Vice Chairman and Allan Graham continues his role as the treasurer.
Donald Wilson will act as the groups licensing and planning advisor.
New members are always welcome and vacancies are available if anyone in the Alloway and Doonfoot area would like to join.
Chairwoman Marilyn Dalgleish, said: “We appreciate locals and residents coming along to our meetings.”
The next meeting will be held at Doonfoot Primary School on Tuesday, June 6.
Meetings will not be on during July and August but will resume the first Tuesday of September.
