AYR Rugby Club will host the Land O'Burns Weekender at the end of the month.

Get your tents looked out for a weekend of camping, beach rugby, live music, locally-sourced and freshly made food and the Land O'Burns Beer Festival, all in the relaxed, friendly and historic surroundings of Alloway.

Friday night will see an opening party in the marquee at Millbrae, before the best men's and women's teams in Scotland battle it out on a specially constructed sand pitch to be crowned Land O'Burns Beach Rugby champions on Saturday, with the Burns Monument providing the stunning backdrop.

Independent craft beer, real ale and cider from across Scotland, gin, wine and prosecco bars and plenty of non-alcoholic refreshments will be part of the beer festival, which last year attracted 1000 visitors, and will run from 12pm till 8pm.

Ayr Ruby Club are proud to host the event from Friday, May 26 to Saturday, May 27. Tickets cost £10 non-camping and £20 camping and will be available at the club shop/

Land O'Burns Weekender is part of the month-long Burns an' a' That festival, and proceeds from the beach rugby tournament will go to Ayr Community Rugby Trust, which promotes and develops youth rugby in South Ayrshire.
