THOUGHTFUL staff from the Heads of Ayr Farm Park have donated a great selection of books and pocket-money toys to NHS Ayrshire & Arran’s children’s ward.
Rather than letting them go to waste when they were having a clear out of the farm park shop, staff chose to give them to the ward at University Hospital Crosshouse.
And they will now be used to help entertain children who are not feeling well.
Jean Davies, Clinical Nurse Manager – Paediatrics, said: “We’re very grateful for this collection of books and toys.
"We would like to thank the staff at Heads of Ayr Farm Park for thinking of us.
“Even a short stay in hospital can seem like a long time for young patients.
"Having a new book to read or toy to play with can be such a welcome distraction and really help to brighten their day.”
