AN AYR woman assaulted her ex-partner after finding out he had been taking drugs.
Kelly Davidson, of Main Street, punched Glen McFadyan on November 5, 2016 at Elba Gardens after finding out he had been taking drugs without her knowing.
The 33-year-old appeared before Sheriff Montgomery at Ayr Sheriff Court last week.
Procurator Fiscal, Mr Toal, said: “CCTV shows at 10:15am, a member of the public seen the accused approach the complainer and punched him in the face.
“The accused attempted to punch him again and missed as the CCTV clearly shows.”
Speaking on her behalf, defence solicitor Mr Currie, said: “The accused and the complainer had a long term relationship and he was doing things without her knowledge, such as taking drugs.
“She became angry after knowing this.
“The complainer has refused to give knowledge of the incident and they have not seen each other since.”
Sheriff Montgomery deferred Davidsons sentence to November 8, to be of good behaviour.
