HEADS of Ayr Farm Park has been crowned the second most popular farm park in the UK.
In total 12 farm parks were shortlisted in the race to be named as the 'UK’s Most Popular Farm Park'.
The popular attraction came so close and was declared as the runner-up with 23 per cent of the votes, only losing out to Fishers Adventure Farm Park, which secured 38 per cent votes.
Saskia Welman, spokesperson for Holiday Lettings, said: “The Farm Parks competition was carried out to celebrate the Easter season.
"It has undoubtedly been our most popular and successful competition to date, with thousands of votes cast over the last two weeks.
"Heads of Ayr Farm Park gave a tough fight for first place, and received more than 21,000 votes to come second.
“We received more than ninety thousand votes during the competition which shows how much farm parks are loved in our country and it’s fantastic to see the local community support one of their parks so vigorously.
"Congratulations to Heads of Ayr Farm Park for being declared as the second most popular farm park in the UK!”
