TROON Street Market had been approved for a three year market trade licence.

The market, which took place on Saturday, April 22, was seen to be busy, with most of the stalls selling out, again.

With a second round of success over the weekend, the market are also hoping to apply to increase their licence for 35 stalls instead of 25.

Donna Read, from TBA, was there as a visitor rather than working this time.

She said: "This month was, again, was very busy and it is just so good for the town and I cannot see where it can go wrong.

"Everyone is happy when they are there and people can go back and forth from the beach especially when the weather was the way it was.

"We had a new stall this month from a Troon girl and her company is called Mill and Moo.

"She designs cards and stationary for kids and she sold out completely so she is coming back next month.

"The market is definitely great for promoting local businesses.

"There were no complaints and everyone loved being out in the sun and it really does bring people into town which is great."

The next Troon Street Market will take place on Saturday, May 27.
