MORE than £1000 has been raised to go towards the running costs of the restored conservatory at Belleisle, thanks to some local bridge groups.
The gathering, organised by Evelyn and Agnes Girvan, got together on Saturday, March 18 at St Leonards Church in Ayr. Guests were treated to a lunch followed by a game of Bridge and a raffle which helped reach the grand total.
Floor tiling works are ongoing and the conservatory re-opens when the work is completed. Belleisle Conservatory Limited would like to thank the organisers and everyone who contributed towards the event.
