JOBCENTRE Plus in Girvan has arranged an employment and opportunities fair in sponsorship with South Carrick Community Learning and Development, Skills Development Scotland and Ayrshire College.
This Employment and Opportunities Fair is a great opportunity for people looking for work to meet a wide range of industry sector employers, training providers and partner organisations who will be recruiting for current and future job vacancies and Modern Apprenticeships in addition to training opportunities and employability support.
This comes after the news of there being a near record of 2.61 million people in Scotland now in employment.
Unemployment in the country has fallen by 42,000 in the last year and has not been lower since mid-2008.
The event will be held at Carrick Buildings, Henrietta Street in Girvan on Wednesday, March 29 between 10-12:30pm.
Employers or training providers who would like to take part in this event to promote current or future job vacancies or training opportunities can email to aileen.irvine@dwp.gsi.gov.uk at Girvan Jobcentre.
