AYRSHIRE Chamber of Commerce celebrated 70 years of business at a stunning gala evening at Trump Turnberry Hotel in front of over 500 guests.
Former Presidents of the organisation returned to join the wide array of Ayrshire business at Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce Platinum Anniversary Dinner with Principal Sponsor First Independent Finance in what turned out to be a truly special night.
This year marks the Platinum Anniversary of the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce and the Annual Dinner took on a Platinum twist to launch a calendar of events to celebrate this milestone.
Ayrshire’s own Karen Dunbar hosted the evening and her unique style ensured guests were kept entertained throughout. Helping Karen with the entertainment was a special video by the Ayrshire Chamber team. ‘Mime
Through Time’ involved the Chamber staff and some directors miming along to some of the most recognisable songs of the last 70 years.
Chief Executive Val Russell said: “What a fitting way to start a year of Platinum Anniversary celebrations with a fantastic evening in equally stunning surroundings.
“While paying tribute to Ayrshire businesses from the past we are keen to keep moving forward to ensure our region’s economy flourishes for the next 70 years and we will be doing that over the next 12 months.
“I’d like to pay tribute to the Chamber team for their work and to the staff at Trump Turnberry for their efforts on the night and we’ll look forward to the challenge of topping this year’s Dinner.”
