Ayr uninsured driver caught
AN AYR man was found in possession of Ecstasy while driving without a valid insurance or 'L' plates.
Ryan O'Neil of George Street admitted driving with a provisional licence but without correct signage on the car at Nelson Place in February.
He also tried to stop police officers from doing their duty by running away from them when he was pulled over.
O'Neil appeared from custody before Sheriff John Montgomery at Ayr Sheriff Court last week. Sentence has been deferred until the end of the month.
