Gardenrose debate at Maybole Town Hall
The Gardenrose Debate Championship was held in Maybole Town Hall recently.
The schools that participated were Gardenrose, Cairn, Minishant, Maidens, Crosshill, Fisherton, Kirkmichael and St Cuthbert’s.
There was a first round, then a semi-final and the final was between Maidens and Minishant with Minishant being the winners!
The judges were: Alex Kelly, Councillor William Grant, Janet McKnight (Carrick Academy teacher) and PC Porter (Carrick Academy Campus Police officer).
