THERE'S just days left until this year's Coylton Gala day which runs on Friday, June 10 and on Saturday, June 11.

Coylton Community Gala have promised a glossy programme including a special performance from a new drama group launched by the Gaiety Theatre's 'Act Out' programme.

Don't worry there is still time to decorate a trailer if you have one and join in the parafe.
If not, anything with wheels will do... even a bed, shed or bogie if you feel adventurous.

This years' theme is Superheroes, so get your capes on, join in the parade and help save the day.

Do you have a garden to be proud of, or know someone who has? Let the Gala know so they can get a few pictures of it to be officially judged on the day.

For the younger ones, design your own miniature garden in a box and bring i along to the judged with the real ones.

Everyone loves tablet, but who makes the best? Let the team know if you want to make some and we'll let the public decide on the day.

Back by popular demand, the family dog show. Bring your pooches and enter them into 15 different fun categories, run by Islay Dog Rescue. If you don't have a dog, but want to sponsor one of the categories, get in touch.

This year's Gala Queen is primary seven Olivia Cosgrove who would like to be a teacher when she is older.

Olivia Flynn also primary seven at Coylton will be the gala queen attendant and nursery attendant is five year old Georgia Howe.
