AYR Central's HMV is moving home and will re-open at unit four, beside River Island at the end of February.
The old store closed its doors on Sunday, January 24 and its team are thrilled to announce that this closure is not permanent.
Laura Thomas, spokesperson for HMV, said: "We are delighted to announce that HMV Ayr will be relocating to a brand new unit within Ayr Central.
"The store manager and his team look forward to welcoming their many loyal customers to their new home of entertainment, where they'll continue to find the very best in film, music, technology, games and merchandise.
"As the UK's biggest vinyl retailer we will also be offering customers the best range of music in LP format."
In the meantime music enthusiasts can visit their nearest shop in East Kilbride or go online.
