Scotland's best young talent at Scottish Rugby Coaching Camp

FIVE talented South Ayrshire youngsters were among the top-rated young rugby talent from the U15-U17 age group at Scottish Rugby’s Struan performance rugby camp.

Some 40 young rugby players from the region made the trip to Perthshire for the camp, run in conjunction with the SSC – a club for the youth of Scotland – which has catered for a host of Internationalists in their formative years including Mike Blair, John Barclay, Gregor Townsend and Rowan Shepard.

Representing South Ayrshire at the event were Ayr trio Robbie Ferguson, Jackson Rountree and James Stirling while Murray Beckwith and Josh Evans flew the flag for Marr Rugby Club.
