Daylight attack horror

TWO sick thugs are being hunted by police after launching a brutal attack on a man in broad-daylight.

The 20-year-old victim was targeted as he walked along the footpath near to the railway bridge at Ayr’s Gordon Terrace when the men hit him with a golf club before taking money from him at 2pm on Monday, November 11.

He was taken to Ayr Hospital for treatment but was later released suffering bruising to his face and swelling to his head and eye.

Both of the thugs are described as 18 to 20-years-old, roughly 5 feet 10” to 6 feet tall with the first of medium build and wearing a light blue hooded top and dark brown Rockport style boots while the second is slim build with short brown hair which was gelled forward and had blonde highlights. The second suspect was wearing a dark navy blue short sleeved t-shirt, possibly with a white logo on the front and blue jeans and in possession of a golf club.
