Flyers given assurances after Prestwick holiday firm goes bust

WORRIED holidaymakers have been reassured by trading standards chiefs following the collapse of a Prestwick-based travel company last week - but have been advised to fork out the extra cash to get protected next time.
Seguro Travel customers and staff at their airport office had been given the devastating news that they had gone bust last Wednesday.
A Trading Standards spokeswoman told of one woman’s plight who managed to save her heoliday thanks to the help and advice given to her by the Trading Standards staff.
